In case of cancellation by Dafnis First Travel due to weather, safety, or unforeseen circumstances, you will be offered a full refund or an alternative date of the experience.

Dafnis First Travel S.A. is a Destination Services Company established in Greece, offering organized land excursions, boat tours, day cruises, and private experiences.

1. General Cancellation Conditions
• All cancellation requests must be made in writing via email or WhatsApp
• The effective cancellation date is the date on which Dafnis First Travel receives the cancellation request.
• Cancellation fees are calculated based on the local date and time in Greece.
• Failure to attend the excursion or tour at the scheduled meeting point and time is considered a no-show and is subject to 100% cancellation fees.
2. Cancellation & Refund Policy – Daily Shared Tours (Land & Boat)
Cancellation fees depend on the time between the cancellation request and the scheduled departure:
• No cancellation fee for cancellations made up to 24 hours before the excursion or tour start time
• 100% cancellation fee for cancellations made less than 24 hours before departure or in case of no-show
3. Cancellation & Refund Policy – Private Land Tours & Private Boat Charters
Cancellation fees vary according to the period prior to the tour or embarkation date:
• 25% cancellation fee for cancellations made 30–21 days before the scheduled date
• 50% cancellation fee for cancellations made 20–11 days before the scheduled date
• 100% cancellation fee for cancellations made 10 days or less before the scheduled date
4. Substitution of Participants
If you are unable to participate for unavoidable reasons, you may suggest a replacement participant, provided the tour takes place on the same date and under the same conditions.
The substitution must be communicated in advance and approved by Dafnis First Travel.
5. Early Termination by the Client
In the event that the Client chooses to terminate or leave a tour, excursion, or charter before its scheduled completion, Dafnis First Travel shall not be liable for any refund of unused services.
6. Cancellations by Dafnis First Travel
Dafnis First Travel reserves the right to cancel or modify a tour due to:
• Weather conditions
• Safety reasons
• Force majeure or unforeseen circumstances
In such cases, clients will be offered:
• An alternative date or equivalent service, subject to availability
• or, A full refund
No further compensation may be claimed.
7. Refund Method
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method used at the time of booking. Processing times may vary depending on the payment provider or bank.
8. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
In the event of a chargeback or payment dispute initiated through a bank or payment provider, Dafnis First Travel reserves the right to suspend the related service without prior notice.
A €50 administrative chargeback fee, along with any outstanding balances, must be settled in full.
Clients are strongly encouraged to contact Dafnis First Travel directly before initiating a chargeback so that any issue may be resolved quickly and fairly.
9. Liability
At Dafnis First Travel, the safety and enjoyment of our clients is our top priority. However, by booking a tour, excursion, or boat trip with us, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Personal Safety
• Passengers must follow all safety instructions provided by our crew or tour guides.
• Life jackets and other safety equipment must be used as instructed.
• Dafnis First Travel reserves the right to refuse participation to any person who poses a risk to themselves or others. - Loss or Damage to Personal Property
• We are not responsible for loss, theft, or damage to personal belongings, including cash, jewelry, electronics, or other valuables. - Force Majeure & Unforeseen Events
• Dafnis First Travel is not liable for delays, cancellations, or changes caused by weather, natural events, accidents, technical failures, or other circumstances beyond our control.
• In such cases, we will make every reasonable effort to provide an alternative experience, if the activity cannot take place. - Health & Medical Responsibility
• Clients are responsible for ensuring they (and any children or dependents traveling with them) are fit for participation.
• Travelers with chronic illnesses, allergies, mobility issues, or pregnancy should consult a doctor before booking and inform Dafnis First Travel of any special needs.
• Dafnis First Travel is not liable for any health issues arising during or after the activity if prior disclosure was not provided. - Tour Itinerary & Operational Changes
• We cannot guarantee all advertised stops or ports of call will be visited.
• Captains, guides, or our staff may alter the itinerary for safety, operational, or regulatory reasons. - Limited Liability
• Nothing in this section affects liability that cannot legally be excluded, such as death or personal injury resulting from gross negligence or willful misconduct.
